Addressing his workers and supporters outside Cabinet Division here, the PTI chief said Nawaz Sharif had ordered the police register a false case against him and Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri under the anti-terrorism act.
Khan also carried copy of the FIR that he waved to his supporters. “The papers I am holding in my hand is a copy of the FIR that has been lodged against me on the request of PM House.”
He said the countdown in end to PM Nawaz Sharif’s tenure had started.
The clash erupted on Saturday night when protesters comprising PAT and PTI workers marched on the PM House, facing stiff police resistance. Demonstrators said they wanted to stage peaceful sit-in outside the PM House, however police used force to disperse them, thus leading to chaotic situation across the capital.
