Aitzaz also emerges with rigging 'proofs'

TOP NEWS

After Imran Khan, Aitzaz Ahsan also provided evidences of electoral irregularities on Monday. While issuing ‘White Paper’ on alleged rigging of polls, he termed the results in NA-124 as ‘fake’.

The PPP senator told that 145 voting bags were not sealed, while the record of a majority of bags was disposed off.

He said everybody knows that the Elections 2013 were rigged, but there is no need to cause unrest over it.

He added that PM Nawaz Sharif is expert ‘in smashing an axe on his own feet’.

Ahsan suggested that those who looted the mandate of the people should be held accountable under the Representation of People Act.

“Article-6 does not directly apply on people involved in manipulating elections, however this illegal act is close enough to the afore mentioned article”, he added.

Moreover, Aitzaz Ahsan said that he does not want to topple the government, but will keep exposing its wrongdoings.
