Imran asks officials to curtail hospital visits

PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan has stressed that visits to local hospitals should be curtailed in view of obstacles for paramedics being created in its wake.

He was speaking to media during his visit to Peshawar’s Lady Reading Hospital. Khan also inspected arrangements for the quake-hit people and directed officials to minimize their visits so doctors could perform their duties smoothly.

He said a process for assessment of damage was being made, adding “decision to seek foreign help will be taken after it.”

Several local people attempted to meet Khan but police deployed at the hospital barred them from proceeding.
