Imran calls UN for taking notice of Rohingya Muslims’ situation in Myanmar

ISLAMABAD: Pakistani cricketer-cum-politician Imran Khan on Wednesday called the United Nations (UN) for taking notice of the gruesome situation of Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar, ARY News reported.

In his letter addressed to the UN secretary general Ban Ki-moon, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chairman expressed grave concerns over the inhuman treatment of Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar.

Khan deplored the ongoing ‘massacre of humanity in Myanmar’ and stated that the United Nations failed to fulfill its responsibilities in this regard.

He demanded the UN secretary general Ban Ki-moon to take notice of the grim situation in Myanmar and stop the massacre of Muslims.
