TOP NEWS

Addressing the participants of the PTI sit-in at D-Chowk Islamabad, Imran Khan vowed that he will meet the families of the victims of Multan stampede and promised that he will get justice served to them at any cost.

Khan said that he does not have trust in the inquiry committee formed by the Sharif brothers.

He added that a large number of masses had gathered at the Qasim Bagh fort to participate in the PTI rally and criticized the local administration for opening only two gates of the venue after the meeting concluded.

Earlier on Friday, seven people were killed and 21 were injured due to stampede during PTI rally in Multan.

Following the tragic event, PTI leadership had declared the local administration and the Punjab Government to be responsible of it.

The DCO Multan however, told that PTI had informed that its officials and workers will look after the inside arrangements of the rally and that the local administration had nothing to do with it.
