Imran concerned over transfer of national wealth

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chairman, Imran Khan on Thursday expressed his serious concerns over continuous transfer of national wealth to foreign countries, ARY News reported.

The PTI chairman said that the increase in indirect taxes has burdened a common man, while industrialists and the elite of the country are transferring capital abroad instead of paying taxes here.

He accused that much of the profit is being made through corruption and comprises of black money.

Khan said that Pakistanis have purchased Rs 430 billion worth of property in Dubai, adding that had this amount been in Pakistan, then there would be no need for us to approach IMF.

Criticizing the Sharifs and Asif Ali Zardari at the same time, the skipper said that everyone is aware of their foreign bank accounts, while the luxury flats and villas of our rulers abroad bring shame to the country.

He slammed that the Nawaz-league and Peoples Party are both trying to save the looted wealth under a mutual agreement.
