Imran convinced to put more pressure on PM Nawaz after Karachi 'closure'

KARACHI: PTI chairman Imran Khan has said people wanted ‘Naya Pakistan’ where rulers must not be habitual of frittering away national wealth along with ignoring plights of masses, ARY News reported.

People will now further pressurize the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif after closure of Karachi, said Imran in his brief address to PTI activists and supporters who gathered at Nursery along Shahrah-e-Faisal at a sit-in.

“We want a Pakistan where rulers and leaders should be subjected to accountability,” he said.

I apologize that your day is wasted, but I promise that we will get the manipulators of elections 2013 results punished,” he told the jubilant PTI supporters here.

Children are dying of hunger in the country, the government must answer about its performance and measures to resolve such issues, he asked.

I am coming to Lahore on December 15, and people of Lahore are ready to welcome PTI as they did in Karachi, he said.

He shouted ‘Go Nawaz Go’ and asked people to chant the same.

He reiterated that ‘Naya Pakistan’, will soon be established and the status-quo will be thrown out.

Earlier, the PTI had asked its supporters to leave sit-in camps at different spots of Karachi and reach nursery to demonstrate support to its leader who was scheduled to address activists at Nursery.
