Dr. Imran Farooq was killed outside his home in London in 2010. Farooq was a former member of the MQM and lived in self-exile until his death.
The murder case of Farooq is currently being held in an Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Islamabad where alleged killer Mohsin Ali and his accomplices Khalid Shamim and Moazzam Ali are under trial.The formal proceedings in the case started from 8th May and they have reportedly confessed to killing him.
The Scotland Yard team will meet a team of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) tomorrow where they are expected to discuss money laundering case against the MQM leader.
