Imran firm on rigging stance despite JC's report

ISLAMABAD: Though he admitted the legitimacy of the assemblies after the Judicial Commission’s report, however the PTI chairman Imran Khan did not give up his rigging claims, ARY News reported.

Imran Khan while holding a presser after consultation with party members for the first time admitted the legitimacy of the current assemblies.

However, the PTI chairman said he needs not to apologize anyone, adding, “It is rather Nawaz Sharif who is supposed to ask for pardon”.

“The JC’s report has unveiled the inefficiency of the election commission for how come the ECP turned a blind eye to 2.5 crore additional votes,” he questioned.

Khan suggested all of the ECP members to step down for showing such incompetence.

The PTI chief however praised the Judicial Commission saying that it worked well and that the Chief Justice Nasir ul Mulk remembered every single bit while investigating electoral rigging and he expressed it all during hearings.
