Khan on Tuesday supported the imposition of Essential Services Act in KP despite standing by Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) employees against expected privatization of the national flag carrier.

He clarified that his party-led provincial government is not selling out public hospitals and that the enforcement of Essential Services Act was a court order.

The PTI chief asked people not to draw comparison between PIA issue and KP health employees’ protest.

He went on to say that the Nawaz-league is provoking doctors in KP and for same purpose PM’s special adviser Ameer Maqam visited Hayatabad Medical Complex today.

Khan claimed that a few people for the sake of their own interest are ‘obstructing provincial government’s efforts to bring improvement in public hospitals across KP’.
