Imran Khan makes organizational changes in PTI

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan Wednesday made structural changes within his party on a large scale, ARY News reported.

According to a notification issued by PTI central secretariat, Dr Shireen Mazari was removed from the post of party’s central information secretary and Naeem ul Haq was installed in her place.

Mazari will now be the spokesperson for party chief Imran Khan and PTI’s chief whip.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi will perform the duties of PTI national organizer, Jehangir Tareen as central organizer and Saifullah Niazi as the deputy central organizer.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi and former governor Chaudhry Sarwar will share responsibilities as party organizers for Punjab.

Sarwar was handed the responsibility of Lahore, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Faisalabad and Rawalpindi divisions, while Qureshi will look after DG Khan, Bahawalpur, Multan and Sahiwal divisions.

Moreover, PTI MNA Asad Umar was designated as Media & Marketing head for the party.
