Rafique was speaking on the floor of the National Assembly today after Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman declared that he would not acknowledge Ayaz Sadiq as speaker of the lower house from today.

He said since the time PTI Chairman started a massive defamation campaign against PML-N, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family members in the country, he was making only statements without any proofs that could do justice to support them.

The Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq was neutral, alleged the PML-N leader, saying he had complete confidence on the speaker.

Rafique said Khan has been complaining about a reference moved by the speaker against him but he would tell the world that the same speaker even rejected an earlier reference against him filed by PML-N.

Earlier in the National Assembly session on Thursday, Imran Khan refused to accept Sadiq as speaker of the house following which the entire PTI leadership stage a walkout from the session in protest.
