Imran Khan to appear before judicial commission

ISLAMABAD: Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Imran Khan will appear before Judicial Commission formed to probe rigging allegations during general election 2013, ARY News reported.

Speaking to media on Thursday, Imran Khan said that this is the first time in the history of Pakistan that the rigging allegations in an election being probed by a judicial commission.

“Today is a golden day for democracy in the country as proper investigation of rigging allegations has been initiated”, Imran Khan said.

“This becomes possible just because of 126-day long protest of PTI for the cause”, he added.

Chairman PTI hoped that this will strengthen democracy in the country.

He claimed that even PM Nawaz has accepted the irregularities during general elections.

Imran Khan informed that the PTI task force will provide several evidences of rigging to the judicial commission.
