Saudi Arabia has asked Pakistan for military aircraft, warships and soldiers, Pakistani Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said on Monday, at the start of a parliamentary debate on whether Pakistan should get involved in a Saudi-led campaign in Yemen.

The joint sitting of parliament to decide whether to comply Saudi’s request or not is underway.

Imran Khan said he understands that Pakistan enjoys cordial ties with Saudi Arabia but the issue of Yemen should be resolved with the help of negotiation.
