Imran Khan’s Bani Gala residence raided by police

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad police have raided Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan’s Bani Gala residence seeking arrest of workers released by PTI chief from a police van late Monday night, ARY News reported.

There are around 1500 policemen surrounding PTI chief’s residence who stopped a police van late night and released some of his arrested party workers.

Khan then took his workers to his Bani Gala residence.

The police acted after getting information and surrounded the PTI chief’s residence ordering him to return the arrested workers otherwise they will force themselves inside the house.

PTI workers were alerted by the party as soon as the news of the raid arrived.

A First Information Report (F.I.R) under article 144 is already registered against Imran Khan.
