Imran lands in Karachi to boost PTI election campaign

KARACHI: Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf, Imran Khan landed at the Karachi airport with a key purpose to boost his party’s election campaign regarding the NA-246 by-elections here, ARY News reported.

He was received by the PTI candidate Imran Ismail upon his arrival at the Karachi airport. PTI secretary general, Jehangir Tareen also accompanied Khan on the occasion.

In his brief talk with media here, Imran Khan said that Karachi is mini-Pakistan and he feels glad to visit it.

The PTI chairman said that he could not visit Karachi for his other political engagements in connection to formation of judicial commission to probe election rigging.He added that he now onwards focus on Karachi ahead of by-polls.

Later, the PTI chief left with a convoy of vehicles, with his own vehicle driven by the NA-246 contestant Imran Ismail.
