'Imran must rejoin parliament to get commission formed'

LAHORE: Federal Minister for Railways Khwaja Saad Rafique on Monday made it clear to PTI chief Imran Khan to rejoin parliament if he wanted formation of judicial commission to probe alleged rigging in general elections, ARY News reported.

“It is incumbent upon Imran to bring his 34 members back to the parliament to get his demands discussed and approved,” he told a press conference here.

The PMLN leader said Imran had done nothing for democracy. “Who could those built a new Pakistan who have no political dignity.

Flanked by another PML-N leader Zaeem Qadri, the minister said people of Lahore had rejected Imran’s ‘tsunami’.

“PTI backtracked on its agreement with the Lahore administration on a peaceful protest.”

Those who faced martial law have never feared of threats, he said while referring to Imran’s warning to the government.
