Imran renews protest appeal, asks people to amass in Islamabad on Nov 30

GUJRAT: Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan has invited the people of Pakistan to converge in large numbers in Islamabad on November 30 to force out the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, ARY News reported.

Addressing a mammoth rally here on Friday, Imran Khan said, “This will be a peaceful protest to unseat the government and press the PM to resign”.

The PTI chief thanked the people of Gujrat for welcoming him warmly. He said that looking at this huge crowd, which has gathered on its own, I can foresee the formation of ‘naya Pakistan’.

He condemned suicide attack on Maulana Fazlur Rahman in Quetta and at the same time expressed displeasure over ill-talks of the JUIF chief about women at PTI’s public gatherings.

Khan said we are bringing the people back into the realm of Islam, who had abandoned it due to the ‘hypocrisy’ of Maulana Fazlur Rahman.

He thanked Dr Tahirul Qadri for standing by the Tehreek-i-Insaf for 60 days, adding that the chief of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) had other goals to achieve via sit-in.

The PTI chairman restated his stance to stay in Islamabad until the resignation of the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

He appealed the people of Pakistan to reach Islamabad on November 30 to stage a massive demonstration to topple the government with the resignation of PM Nawaz Sharif.

Imran Khan said that the premier will not step down easily as he has signed various projects to earn billions of kick-backs.

He said we will stage a huge demonstration on November 30 to force out the prime minister, for which people all over country are invited to converge in Islamabad.

With this, Imran Khan seems to have planned a 30-day recess to mobilize masses ahead of his big public gathering in Islamabad.
