Imran says “time now to stand up to Sharif gullus”

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan has hit out at the Punjab Government against Daska incident and demanded end to this ‘brutality’, ARY News reported.

In his series of tweets on the incidents, Khan said, “When Model Town gullus go unpunished, then there is little to deter the police from committing murder again and again.”

At least two lawyers were shot dead during clash with the police when officials of Daska Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) along with SHO of Daska city police station Shehzad Warraich were conducting an anti-encroachment drive in Sialkot’s Daska tehsil when local residents and lawyers staged a protest, demanding more time from authorities.

Amid the ruckus, the SHO opened straight fire to disperse the protesters resulting bullet wounds to a pedestrian and three lawyers, including the Daska bar president.
