Imran slams Centre for ‘obstructing KP Ehtesab Commission’

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Tuesday alleged the federal government of ‘obstructing the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Ehtesab Commission regarding the arrest of those involved in corruption’, ARY News reported.

Imran Khan today took to Twitter and slammed the federal government for trying to prevent arrest of the ones involved in corruption in KP.

“It took us two years to set up an independent KP Ehtesab Commission,” he stated. “A PTI minister and father of a PTI MPA were the first to be arrested by it”.

Unfortunately, the federal government is making it difficult for the commission to arrest criminals hiding out in Islamabad, he alleged.

Khan asserted we are determined to counter efforts to prevent us from arresting politicians/leaders of other political parties wanted by the KP Ehtesab Commission.
