Imran slams ECP for ‘special favours’ to PM

ISLAMABAD: PTI chairman Imran Khan has blasted the Election Commission of Pakistan for “singling him out” for action during the election campaign, ARY News reported.

Speaking to media in Islamabad, Khan said cases were being registered against him for holding rallies.

“Such worst gags are never found in any democracy,” said Imran Khan in blunt criticism to the PML-N government. He rebuked the ECP for sparing the prime minister for any action against for violation of election rules.

He lamented that no action was taken against the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif who was announcing development packages. He said thousands of bogus votes were found in NA-122. Was any FIR was filed against the person accused?

The PTI chief said he had no Benazir Income Support card or anything to garner votes. “Why cases are being registered against me,” he asked.

He warned of people’s reaction for obstacles being created against him in the election campaign
