Imran terms PM’s visit to GB a ‘pre-poll rigging’ move

ISLAMABAD: PTI chief Imran Khan has condemned visit of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to Gilgit-Baltistan and termed it ‘an effort for pre-poll rigging in GB’, ARY News reported.

In his tweet, Khan said PM’s announcement of development package in GB was an electoral gimmick.

“This follows his earlier moves to appoint his federal minister as governor GB, a PML-N loyalist caretaker government & election commissioner,” said Khan.

The PTI chief said “this brazen pre poll rigging is absolutely unacceptable.”

He added that PML-N must learn essentials of democracy beginning with fair & free elections.

Continuing his diatribe against the PM, Khan said, “So far Nawaz Sharif has not been able to rise above cronyism and use of money to buy influence.”
