Imran turns his cannons towards Sirajul Haq

ISLAMABAD: Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan on Thursday turned his cannons towards the emir of Jamat e Islami (JI) Sirajul Haq and advised him not to play on both sides of the wicket, ARY News reported.

In his statement issued today, Imran Khan said that Jamat e Islami and Sirajul Haq demand imposition of Islamic laws, but they are not ready to witness PTI fighting over basic principles of Islam.

Khan said his party is fighting against those, who plundered the electoral mandate of the people.

The PTI chairman strongly criticized the JI, one of three allies in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) coalition government led by his party [PTI], the other being Swabi-based Awami Jamhoori Ittehad Pakistan (AJIP).

“Sirajul Haq should stop trying to play on both sides of the wicket”, he advised, adding the JI chief failed to accept rigging of last general elections, which raises a question mark on his determination to act upon the Islamic principles.

The skipper further said that the JI emir has forgotten that how many corruption cases are registered against PM Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari, within the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

He expressed his sorrow for Sirajul Haq considered PTI similar to PMLN and PPP.

Imran Khan said if the JI emir is an honest man, then he should accept the plundering of the right of the people by these two parties and support PTI’s stance.
