Imran urges kisans to stand up for their rights

VEHARI: Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan on Saturday lamented that the rule of might is right is in place in the country and vowed to get the kisans their due rights, ARY News reported.

Addressing the kisan convention, Imran Khan urged the farmers to stand up for their rights.

Reminding government of its responsibility to reduce poverty, he said if the peasants were not helped then poverty would not be ended.

Speaking about the havoc caused by floods in parts of country, the PTI chief suggested to construct smaller dams in order to avoid destruction.

Moreover, the convention was addressed by Shah Mehmood Qureshi and other key members of Tehreek-i-Insaf.
