Imran vows to celebrate this Eid with participants of PTI sit-in

ISLAMABAD: Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan has vowed to celebrate Eid ul Adha in Islamabad, together with the participants of the PTI sit-in, ARY News reported.

Addressing his workers and supporters at D-Chowk Islamabad, Imran Khan paid them a tribute over their firmness despite of all the hardships. He added that keeping in view the sacrifices you have rendered, it is our duty to celebrate this Eid here with you.

The PTI chairman told, “I celebrate Eid in Lahore, with all my sisters, but this Eid my sisters and their children will be arriving here in Islamabad and together we all will celebrate the occasion”. He added that the Eid prayers will be held at the sit-in venue, while special programs will also be arranged with respect to the eve.

Khan said that tomorrow is the last day of submitting the details of assets and demanded the ECP to put the particulars of the politicians on its website. He said that today the government is standing on one side, while the common people are standing with him.

He said that PM Nawaz in order to escape taxation shifted all his assets abroad, while he is paying more than 2 billion tax to the British Government.

Imran Khan said that we will review every single detail of the assets of PM Nawaz Sharif, adding, “I have not kept anything in hiding and the Prime Minister is also welcomed to analyze my financial particulars”.

The skipper also said, “I personally own all my possessions and none of my properties is registered with the name of anyone else”.

He also vowed to constitute a team of lawyers, which will consult the court over the financial details of the parliamentarians.

Imran Khan challenged that the prime minister will not be able to inform the ECP about his way of income, while he also demanded the PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari to inform about his assets outside the country.

The PTI chief said, “Two families here do not pay any taxes and launder huge sums abroad, which are collected through corruption”.

Moreover, he urged the people to email the ECP and demand it to make the financial particulars of all the politicians public on its website, for it is their right to know.
