Imran demands PM’s resignation, re-elections

TOP NEWS

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif must now resign and order re-elections in the country, said the PTI chief while talking to media here.

He said Mehmood Achakzai, chairman Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party, must decide whether he was with the monarchy or the democratic powers. Khan said the time for dialogue has now ended.

He said it was possible that independence march (by PTI) and revolutionary march (by Dr. Tahirul Qadri-led PAT) might be unified at one point. “Mian sahib, the time for monarchy has ended,” said Khan

The PTI chairman vowed to get “Pakistan liberated on August 14” through independence march.

Talking to media here, the PTI chief said, “We have been striving for 14 months to get justice, but to no avail.”

He regretted that there was no democracy in the country.

Khan said constituencies which had been audited so far had unearthed huge rigging. “In 2013 general elections, historic 1.5 million votes were rejected. In my Mianwali constituency, 30,000 fake votes were casted,” alleged Mr. Khan.

He announced to make further revelations regarding rigging on August 11.

We will again, he said, put up the re-election demand on August 14. “The musical chair game of power is being played in Pakistan.”
