MUZAFFARABAD: Indian forces opened unprovoked fire at Smahini Sector of Line of Control (LoC) on Tuesday morning, ARY News reported.

Indian border forces resorted to unprovoked fire at Smahini Sector of the LoC in Kashmir from 04.00 am till 06.00 am.

Indian border troops also opened fire at Iftikharabad, Nezapur and Keelar sectors of the LoC on Monday.

Pakistani forces gave a befitting response to the Indian forces and silenced their guns.

It should be noted that two Pakistani soldiers were died when Indian forces violated the Line of Control ceasefire with unprovoked fire on Thursday.

Indian Director General of Military Operations had also claimed of carrying out surgical strikes in Pakistani territory but did not present any evidence regarding his claim.

The surgical strikes in Pakistan, a serious claim on the part of India, was also questioned by the international media.

United Nations Military Observer Group in India and Pakistan (UNMOGIP) said that it found no evidence of any surgical strike in the country.
