The event was organised by a private event management company called ‘Shwaasa’, reported the Bollywood Bubble.
The programme continued for around an hour, but Bipasha is yet to receive her remuneration. As per reports, the state Government is liable to bear the expenses of the event and Shwaasa forwarded them the amounts.
However, a total amount of Rs 45 lakh for a one-hour event seemed unbelievable to the authority concerned and now they have demanded a detailed explanation for the expenses.
”No payments have been made to the private organisers so far. The programme was organised by the government and no formal invitation was extended by the state to Bipasha Basu.”
Subhash K Malkhede, director of AYUSH, said: “The government was in no way connected to her presence at Kanteerava Stadium and has no idea about the remuneration payable to her.
The private partner (referring to Shwaasa) has submitted bills for various expenses and all of these are not acceptable,” he underlined.
