RAWALPINDI: Indian forces once again resorted to unprovoked fire at Line of Control (LoC) in Bhimber sector of Azad Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday morning.

According to details, the Indian border forces carried out fire at Bhimber’s Khuiratta area at 04.30 am and continued till 07.00 am.

The Pakistani forces gave a befitting response to their Indian counterpart and silenced the enemy guns. No casualties or injuries were reported in the firing process.

The Indian forces have violated the Line of Control (LoC) ceasefire several times. The people living near the border areas are facing severe problems.

It should be noted that two Pakistani soldiers were killed when Indian forces violated the LoC ceasefire with unprovoked fire on 29th September.

Indian Director General Military Operations had claimed of carrying out surgical strikes in Pakistan but did not present any evidence regarding his claim.

The surgical strikes in Pakistan, a serious claim on the part of India, was also questioned by the international media.

United Nations Military Observer Group in India and Pakistan (UNMOGIP) said that it found no evidence of any surgical strike in the country.
