ISLAMABAD: Maritime Security Agency arrested ‘Indian nationals’ who were trying to enter Pakistan by cross the western sea border, ARY News reported on Sunday.

According to details, Maritime Security Agency raided the sea and arrested Indian nationals who were trying to enter the country illegally through Pakistan’s territorial waters.

The arrested persons were shifted to Karachi whereas their boats were seized by the authorities.

Sources said that the arrested persons will be questioned by the investigation agencies. It was said that strict action will be taken against the suspects if the accusations of infiltration against them are proven true.

It should be noted that Pakistan Navy had successfully intercepted an Indian submarine and prevented it from entering Pakistani waters.

Pakistan Navy Fleet units had recognised the danger in the shape of an Indian submarine floating secretly near the Pakistan waters possibly spying following which they limited its movement effectively.

A statement by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) read, “We are vigilant and fully prepared to answer any sort of Indian aggression.”
