Indo-Pak female singers to unite at Indian Film Festival in Melbourne

MELBOURNE: The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne is all set to start in Melbourne, this August and the event will feature a known singer from Pakistan as well.

Themed around woman empowerment this year, a performance of a curated mini concert featuring Pakistani singer-songwriter Sara Haider, award-winning Indian singer Shalmali Kholgade, the Slumdog Millionair singer Suzanne D’Mello and other notable local performers in an unforgettable night of glamour, song and dance.

The concert will take place on the same night as the awards at the festival where female performers will come together to spread the powerful message of women empowerment and peace between the two nations.
