According to ARY News, the ferocity of the flood in Chenab river has decreased leaving a trail of devastation along the course of the river.

The threat of a high flood in Sindh has been averted due to distribution of the flood water  in Punjab, the Flood Control Room at Kotri Barrage said in a statement.

The water level at Guddu Barrage will go down in the next couple of days, the flood control room further said in a statement.

The water flow of 342,912 cusecs was passing through Guddu Barrage with the water level going down, Flood Forecasting Division said.

There is a low flood in River Indus at Guddu and Sukkur barrages.

More than 50 villages have have been submerged under the river  water in Pannu Aqil. Thousands of acres agriculture land and 29 villages have been drowned under the flood water in Qadirpur.

According to reports, several villages along the katcha area have come under the river water in Kashmore and Ghotki districts. Four more villages have been submerged in Kandhkot.

The conditions of relief camps are reported to have been as problematic for the flood-hit people as they were in previous floods.
