According to details, one the latest victims of malnutrition was just 12 days old while the other kid died due to the non-availability of medicine in Civil Hospital Mithi.
Moreover, the district administration has submitted the report of 275 child deaths to Sindh Government. The report covers the reasons for such deaths spanning over 11 months.
PPP Chairman’s Notice
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari yesterday issued show cause notices to Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah and Provincial Minister Manzoor Wassan due to their alleged inaction over drought situation in Thar.
The party chief required the duo to submit written explanations from the duo within seven days.
Manzoor Wassan denied reports of reception of a show cause notice, saying that he has not received any such notice. He maintained that he will surely provide an explanation if he receives one.
