Institutions should not be dragged into politics: Khursheed Shah

SUKKUR: Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Ahmad Shah expressed thanks to Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif for taking notice of PTI Chief Imran Khan’s statement saying ‘Umpire will raise his finger’, ARY News reported.

Speaking to media in Sukkur today, Khursheed Shah said Army is responsible for the security of borders. He said institutions should not be dragged into politics.

The Leader of opposition said that parties protesting in Islamabad did not recognize existence of the parliament. He said no extra-constitution action will be accepted adding that opposition will support democracy.

Criticizing chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Imran Khan, Khursheed Shah no one can become a prime minister through musical shows. He said people are suffering due to the massive destruction cause by floods but those protesting are celebrating.
