Interior Ministry receives report on Nine Zero raid

ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Interior on Thursday received the report of Pakistan Rangers’ (Sindh) raid at Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) headquarters Nine Zero in Karachi, ARY News reported.

The report forwarded by the Director General (DG) of Sindh Rangers stated that the paramilitary force raided Nine Zero upon an intelligence tip-off, which remained ‘successful’.

It was stated that the Rangers apprehended 27 suspects from Nine Zero including three ‘most wanted target-killers’.

“Rangers personnel seized 130 modern weapons during the raid, including foreign-made arms too,” read the report.

“The weapons included sniper rifles, wireless communication sets, repeaters and 31000 live rounds of different kinds.”

The DG Rangers in his report stated that the arrested suspects are being interrogated.
