Iran border forces fire mortar shells in Pakistan

QUETTA: Iranian border forces guards violated the Pakistani border for the second day, firing five mortar shells into Mashkail town, ARY News reported on Saturday.

No losses of life or property however reported in the incident, sources said.

In an earlier border violation in Chokab area of district Kech, a personnel of Frontier Constabulary was killed and three others were injured when they were patrolling in the area.

Pakistan in a statement had announced that it would protest with Iran against the border violation on Friday.
