Irked by Nisar, MQM calls for a protest today

KARACHI: In reaction to Chaudhry Nisar’s statement, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has announced a protest demonstration today, while Farooq Sattar says that MQM was with and will remain with the army, ARY News reported.

While condemning the registration of cases against party chief Altaf Hussain, MQM Rabita Committee slammed that when the party stated the account of atrocities carried out on its workers and sympathizers, then instead of pondering over it cases are being registered against Altaf Hussain.

It announced for a protest demonstration outside Karachi Press Club at 3pm today.

The RC further said that Muttahida always stood by Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), but the way provincial government is behaving today that is extremely condemnable.

Meanwhile, Farooq Sattar during a presser at Nine Zero said the interior minister is suffering from Altaf-phobia and that MQM is with the military.

MQM members said that the MQM leadership cannot be frightened by registering cases, nor can it be stopped from striving for the rights of the oppressed.
