Ishrat accepts resignations of MQM ministers

KARACHI: Governor Sindh Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan has accepted the resignations of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Sindh ministers on Monday, ARY News reports.

MQM lawmakers Dr. Abdul Rauf Siddiqui and Dr. Sagheer Ahmed were serving as provincial ministers of Trade and Industry and Health respectively.

It should be noted that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and MQM have locked horns after Opposition Leader in National Assembly Khursheed Shah issued statements regarding the term Muhajir (migrant).

The party’s provincial minister, assistants and special advisors had resigned from the provincial government after the statements of the opposition leader.

Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah has already accepted the resignations of MQM provincial advisers Faisal Sabzwari, Adil Siddiqui and Abdul Haseeb Khan.
