All issues will be discussed with top Indian diplomat: Foreign Office

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan will keep on fulfilling its responsibilities with United Nations, citing Foreign Office (FO) spokesperson Tasneem Aslam, ARY News reported.

During a weekly news briefing in Islamabad today, Tasneem Aslam said working for peace is an important pillar of Pakistan’s foreign policy and the country is playing vital role in UN peace missions around the world for the past five decades.

“Pakistan’s role in 42 UN peace missions is significant”, said the spokesperson.

Speaking on Foreign Secretary of India Subrahmanyan Jaishankar’s visit to Pakistan, the spokesperson said no specific agenda has been set for talks with the to Indian diplomat adding that all issues will come under discussion during the visit.

It is pertinent to mention that top Indian foreign secretary Jaishankar will arrive in Pakistan on March 3 to hold meeting with his Pakistani counterpart Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry in Islamabad.
