It really is an open secret, which everyone within and outside the Indian film industry is well aware of. Bollywood actress Kajol might be significantly chummy with Shah Rukh Khan, ever since the days of DDLJ, but everyone knows her husband Ajay Devgan and close friend Shah Rukh Khan do not share the same rapport.
Kajol admitted that her chemistry with Shah Rukh was one-of-a-kind which had also been a hit with audiences worldwide. The Dilwale actress had left acting for a few years after her wedding with Singham actor Ajay Devgan. Even though she left acting to take care of her family, Kajol’s relationship with Shah Rukh remained the same and the two have been great friends ever since.
In an interview, Kajol said that it was true her husband and Shah Rukh were not friends. However, she also said that it also didn’t mean that Ajay and Shah Rukh did not meet at parties or they were total strangers.
Kajol said that Shah Rukh was one of her closest friends and that fact was not hidden from Ajay. However, neither she nor her husband had ever dictated to each other who was to be friends with either of them.
Kajol and Shah Rukh last starred with each other in the 2010 film My Name Is Khan which received rave reviews, grossed an impressive amount at the box office. Dilwale is scheduled to be released in a couple of days on December 18, 2015. The movie also stars Kriti Sanon, Varun Dhawan in supporting roles and is directed by Chennai Express director Rohit Shetty.
