Jamaat-e-Islami should be banned to save Pakistan: Altaf Hussain

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has demanded ban on religious right party Jamaat-e-Islami, ARY News reported on Tuesday.

MQM chief opined that a ban on Jamaat-e-Islami is necessary to save the country as Taliban terrorists and people belonging to international terrorist organization Islamic State (IS) are being arrested from JI leaders’ houses.

Altaf Hussain lamented that the tragic Peshawar attack incident could not unite the nation.

About US secretary of state John Kerry’s visit to Pakistan, he commented that Kerry even did not condemn the continuous Indian violation of Line of Control.

Altaf said that US secretary of state pledged billions of dollars in aid to India while only pledging 250 million in aid to Pakistan.
