JI calls All Parties Conference over Kashmir

LAHORE: Jamaat Islami has decided to convene All Parties Conference (APC) on July 29, over the ongoing situation in held Kashmir.

The party’s Secretary General Liaquat Baloch in a press conference at Lahore Press Club on Tuesday said that the government has been silent over the Indian atrocities against Kashmiri brethren so as JI has decided to summon an APC moot to highlight the issue.

He said all political and religious parties and the civil society groups will be invited to attend the moot.

Baloch also announced a march from Nasir Bagh to Wagah Border on July 31st. He said the party’s women will express their solidarity with Kashmiris in Karachi on August 4.

He urged the government to be clear on its stance over Kashmir and demanded to end bilateral relations with India till the atrocities against people of Kashmir come to an end.
