LAHORE: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Raabta Committee (RC) member Saif Yar Khan has said that Jamaat-e-Islami’s affiliation with terrorist groups Al-Qaeda and Taliban has been exposed – ARY News reports.
Speaking at the General Workers’ meeting and the death anniversary of MQM Chief Altaf Hussain’s mother Khursheed Begum here on Thursday, he said that the bullying against the teachers of Punjab University by the Islami Jamiat Tulba (IJT) is condemnable.
He urged that a ban should be placed on the group for being involved in such activities.
On this occasion, MQM RC member Mian Ateeq said that the party will fully participate in the Local Bodies (LB) Elections. He also said that MQM will nominate a candidate in the district, Tehsil and Union Council each.
He urged the responsible workers to mentally and physically prepare themselves for the polls.
