The US secretary of state will reach Pakistan today. He will be on a two-day visit to the country to meet Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and his Advisor on Foreign Affairs and National Security Sartaj Aziz.
Sources said that Secretary Kerry will lead strategic dialogue with Pakistan and will discuss Pak-Afghan relations and rising tension with neighboring India.
The visit has been of utmost importance in the backdrop of Pakistan’s bold steps in the past month against the menace of terrorism in the country after the Peshawar school attack which killed 149 people mostly children.
