Judiciary failed to provide timely justice, laments Musharraf

ISLAMABAD: Former president, General (R) Pervez Musharraf on Saturday said that the judiciary failed to provide timely justice, due to which the country had to face sit-ins, ARY News reported.

The statement was made during his telephonic address with the female workers of the All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) in Islamabad.

The former president said that the circumstances cannot be normalized as long as a third party does not come into power other than Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN).

He stressed on the need of bringing such a government in the country that could introduce true reforms.

Musharraf also emphasized the role of women in politics saying that the women will have to actively take part in politics of the state.

The ex-Army Chief vowed to establish separate universities for women in every province, after coming into power in the country.
