Kabaddi: India beats Pakistan amidst complaints of unfair play

BHATINDA: India has defeated Pakistan by 45-43 in the final of Kabaddi Cup at Bhatinda, Punjab, ARY News reported.

Captain of Pakistan Kabaddi team, Ahmed Shafiq Chishti blasts umpires for their biased attitude towards team India by saying “Umpires call off the match just at the time when India gain lead.”

He further complained umpires didn’t allow players of team Pakistan to drink water during the match and were mistreated when they react against the restriction.

The crowd witnessed a fiery contest between the Arch-rivals Pakistan and India. Pakistan dominated the game till third quarter by maintaining lead 31-27.

But in the fourth quarter India bounced back well and gained two points lead to win the contest.

Earlier, in the semi final, Pakistan has defeated Iran in their semi-final, after one-sided competition by a  score of 56-28, while the Indians thrashed England 54-33.

Meanwhile, women Kabaddi team of Pakistan were beaten by India with a score of 47-19.
