A large number of illegal stalls, shops, small cabins and Bus stations were either razed to the ground or removed in the operation in Sohrab Goth and surrounding areas.
The operation done with the help of police completely cleared the area of illegal establishments on the government land despite a violent protest by the enraged mob.
