Addressing to a ceremony here today, Ahsan Iqbal said Chinese President during his visit to Pakistan will perform ground breaking of Pakistan-China Economic Corridor project.
The Minister reiterated that no change is being made in the route of the corridor. He also clarified that the project will serve all the provinces and will create many opportunities.
Talking about strengthening relations between Pakistan and China, he said the two countries are transforming their relations into a strategic economic partnership which will have far reaching impact on the country’s economy.
Highlighting need of peace in Karachi, Ahsan Iqbal said the provincial metropolis is heart of Pakistan’s economy. He added that overall law and order situation has improved as a result of government’s indiscriminate action.
“Karachi and Balochistan of 2015 are much better and different as compared to the year 2013”, he claimed.
About situation in Middle-East, Ahsan Iqbal said Pakistan along with Turkey is standing with Saudi Arabia to end chaos in the region.
