According to details, Karachi police nabbed three suspects involved in street crimes in after a brief shootout with them in Korangi Industrial area and recovered firearms from them.
In another such incident, police engaged in a shootout with three criminals in Badar Commercial area of Defence. Two of them escaped the scene while one was arrested in injured condition.

A 28 year old man identified as Saqib was killed in a gun attack in Korangi. Police is investigating the crime claiming that the incident seems result of a personal enmity.
A security guard was shot while resisting a robbery attempt in Jamshed Quarters. He was rushed to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
