The security arrangement for the religious occasions have been finalized. More than 4850 police officers will provide security to the main process.
Traffic Police also issued the alternative traffic routes for 12th Rabi-ul-Awal.
Processions and rallies will be taken out by social and religious groups whereas Mehfil-e-Milad and other gatherings will be held in which the life and the teachings of the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) will be highlighted.
Inspector General Sindh Ghulam Hyder Jamali has instructed that communication between the law enforcement agencies must should be ensured in order to avoid any unfortunate incident during the processions and gatherings.
According to a release by Sindh Police, 28933 security officials will provide security to the gathering and processions across the city whereas commandos based on two companies each of Rapid Response Force, Special Security Unit (SSU) along with additional 2000 personnel will also be deployed on the occasion while 571 police mobiles and 574 police officers on motorcycles will also provide security on the occasion.
